The engineering story so far..

Red Winches have been designing and manufacturing winches for the MOD and British Army for several years now, they have been used and abused on a number of vehicle types around the world and are currently fitted to the redoubtable Jackal 2 all terrain vehicle.

In service our winches have been used in some of the most hostile places in the world and they have proved utterly dependable and totally reliable, this is a reputation of which we are very proud.

We are pleased to announce that we can now supply the ultimate hydraulic winch to the 4x4 and utility
market places.

The Design

Red Winches uses the latest 3D design and analysis packages including SolidWorks and Adobe Acrobat 3D to produce the designs that have played a big part in the success of our products.
The design maintains the level of quality engineering our customers expect and demand.

The Manufacture

CNC Precision Manufactured... From the raw material to thefinished product, this is how all the winches and our RED Winch products are processed through our factory in Chard. Even down to the unique RED Winches key ring. Customers are more than welcome to come and see the winches being manufactured and we can even offer to personalise your winch system using our in-house CNC systems.
